I'm going to talk about the time when you get stuck in a situation where you can't decide that the change in your life was for good or bad. Was the step up a real progress or a downfall. And do you regret it?
Today, I met a few old friends I hadn't been in touch with for quite a while. At the first thought, it all sounds fun. Until.. I discovered it becomes awkward after a while.
Looks unchanged, styles unchanged.. The mindset is what makes the difference. Where one can spend talking for hours over a cup of coffee with your current mindset, the same one may not be able to speak a word over the same cup of coffee with your past mindset.
Taking a break, what is a mindset? Your thoughts, your ways of living, your ideas of truth and conflicts and most of all your behaviour. This is your mindset. So what creates changes? Experiences? Ego? Upgrade in lifestyle? Other "etc." things? That's on you to decide.
Well, in the past you and your environment shared the same mindset. However over time your mindset changes against your environment or vice versa. And if you're someone like me, you wouldn't be aware about any changes.
So when you get around with the people from your past you realize that things have changed surely, For good, for bad? You don't know. Or maybe you do? Give it a thought! Maybe you changed your complete environment. Or maybe they did. Remember one thing, if you have regretted it all this while, its time to give it a full stop.
The life you now live in, is the one you've chosen after a long conflict with your past environment. This conflict has surely leaded to a better you. Please note, here I do not speak about materialistic environment. And if it didn't lead to a better you, you should have a conflict with your current environment and take a step ahead towards your betterment. Keep up the conflict till you find yourself in the purest form.
So forget the word 'regret' and keep moving. When you do, its for the better you. And keep catching up with the old buddies of your old environment, it will help you notice the differences between your past and present environment and you shall see the changes for the opposites.
